What is STEMation and what does it offer?
STEMation is a live online learning platform offering interactive courses in STEM fields such as coding, 3D design, artificial intelligence, electronics, and more, specifically designed for children and young people aged 6 to 18.
What makes STEMation different from other online learning platforms?
We focus on live, interactive classes supervised by a team of professional trainers. We use simple, easy-to-understand language to deliver information to students (in Arabic and English, with other languages coming soon). We offer flexible study schedules, prompt and professional technical support, and focus on teaching practical, real-world skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
What age groups are supported on the platform?
We offer structured and professional programs for students from 6 to 18 years old, with content tailored to each age group based on level and ability.
Does the student need any previous experience before joining the course?
No, no prior knowledge is required in the chosen course subject, unless otherwise stated in the course details (in the Prerequisites section). All of our courses start at the beginner level and gradually rise to advanced levels. Most courses consist of more than one course, starting at Level 1 and working upwards. Therefore, it is always preferable to choose the "Level 1" course initially.
How do students interact with teachers?
Through live video sessions, and a dedicated chat panel between student and teacher.
How is student progress tracked?
Students and parents can easily track course progress, upcoming session dates, and assignment results through the dashboard on the learning platform.
Does the student get a certificate?
Yes, each student who completes a level receives a digital certificate proving course completion, which can be accessed through their profile on the platform.
What if my child is shy or has a poor ability to participate?
Our expert trainers are trained to create a safe and stimulating environment for all students, fostering strong student engagement and providing support when needed.
What equipment is required to follow the lessons?
A laptop or desktop computer, a good and stable internet connection, and a microphone – that's all a student needs.
Do I need to install any apps?
In most courses, there's no need to install software. All sessions, assignments, and simulations are conducted through the browser, and even video conferencing tools are used within our secure platform. All you need is an activated personal Gmail account, ready to use to create a student account on some interactive platforms when needed.
Is account information and student data secure?
Absolutely. We follow strict privacy policies, use secure payment gateways, and comply with international child protection laws to ensure maximum privacy.
